PERSONAL REVIEW
We're finally at the end of this superhero trilogy and it was a pretty satisfying journey. Meyer's left us on a cliffhanger (obviously) at the end of Archenemies with so many potential avenues for the story to go. I can't believe I actually lasted a year waiting for this ending!

This Is A Long One...
Fair warning, this is a long book. There were definitely moments when reading that I was just waiting for the story to move along. We know that Nova and Adrian are going to discover each other's identities, so why do we have to wait so long for it to happen?? This could just be my impatience, but I did feel like the first quarter of the book could have been cropped to get us to the juicy stuff faster.

Decent Character Development (But Still Missing More from the Secondaries)
Thank God Nova and Adrian finally figure out each other's secret identities because these are the conversations that we've been waiting for. I actually think it could've happen in the previous book and still had the same impact, but that's just me. It was great once it happened because we fully see the struggle that each of them goes through to understand the person they were coming to love. It's great! But while the dual perspective of Nova and Adrian is key to making this story work, I still wish that we were given more insight into secondary characters. This is the first time we really see Arian spending time with Max, giving us the chance to see them as brothers, but I want more of that. More understanding about these heroic bystanders would give more depth to the story so it's not just a constant game of Tag between Nova and Adrian.

Excellent Surprise Ending!
I LOVED this ending! The epilogue chapter should be reason enough for everyone to finish this series because OH MY GOD it is a crazy twist! I love that Meyer's gave us this chapter to basically completely blow up some of the character interactions and backstories that we've been given in the past. I'm not giving spoilers (DM me on Instagram if you want to discuss further!) but I will say that when I finished the final page, I turned to my husband and said "holy sh*t, I can't believe the author just did that. I love it!".

Overall, this was a good ending to the trilogy. While there are moments I didn't love, in the end Meyer's completely had me hooked on the outcome of this final battle (and again...THE EPILOGUE!). If you've enjoyed the other books in this trilogy, you definitely need to read Supernova so that we can talk about it!
